As part of the Emfasis Emergency Relief Programme, we are implementing a series of targeted interventions in the area of Varnavas, Attica, aimed at providing immediate relief and support to those affected.
From the very first moments up until now, we mobilize our Mobile Support Units and Social Services to deliver direct assistance in the field.
We maintain close collaboration with the local community and volunteer groups, strengthening their preparedness and resilience in the face of natural disasters.
We collect and distribute food and cleaning supplies through the Municipality’s Youth Center, while two of our volunteers carry out regular distribution of essential goods at the local community. At the same time, we conduct door-to-door visits to support vulnerable residents who cannot access the distribution point.
In parallel, we are in the process of helping and empowering residents to renovate damaged buildings, so that they can safely return to their homes and begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and security.
Through these coordinated actions, we reinforce social cohesion and build an effective response network capable of addressing emergencies promptly and collectively.
