Since August, Emfasis Emergency Relief Programme has been active in Achaia to support those affected by the devastating wildfires. From the very first moment, we were on the ground to provide essential supplies and to assess the immediate needs of the fire-stricken population.
Over the past few months, we delivered everything necessary to ensure the basic needs of those affected by the wildfires were met, such as hygiene products, food supplies, and more. At the same time, we remained in constant communication with them in order to stay informed about their evolving needs.
Of course, our response extended far beyond the distribution of food supplies. A core focus of our work has been the empowerment the local community to support its recovery and resilience.
In collaboration with other organizations and the local community, we are working tirelessly to offer people a source of support, something to help them regain their power and begin to rebuild their lives.
However, we must not forget that in the months ahead, needs will persist, and may even grow.
With your invaluable support, we will ensure that hope and solidarity shine even in the most challenging times for the people of Achaia.
