Dear Donors,

During this reporting period, we strategically focused on recovery support, preparedness strengthening and capacity building to ensure we remain fully operational and ready to respond at any time.

As part of our continued engagement with previously affected communities, we conducted field visits in Thessaly, an area that had experienced severe impacts from past extreme weather events and has now moved beyond the emergency phase. These visits allowed us to reconnect with local stakeholders, assess long-term recovery progress and identify remaining needs.

In collaboration with a local school, we organized a tree-planting initiative aimed at supporting environmental restoration and community resilience. This activity served not only as a contribution to ecological recovery but also as a symbolic action of renewal and hope for students and educators. The participation of volunteers and members of the school community reinforced a shared message of resilience, solidarity and sustainable rebuilding.

At the same time, we prioritized strengthening our volunteer network through continuous training sessions. These trainings focused on disaster management protocols, rapid response coordination, humanitarian aid distribution procedures and field safety standards. Investing in our people ensures that when an emergency arises, our teams can act immediately, efficiently, and safely.

Preparedness remained a core priority throughout the quarter. We collected and organized essential relief supplies, optimized inventory management at our logistics and supply facility and assembled fully equipped Rescue Ready Kits. These kits contain essential first-response items and are pre-packed for immediate deployment. By maintaining organized stock and pre-assembled kits, we significantly reduce response time and enhance operational effectiveness in the critical first hours of a crisis.

Preparedness is as vital as response. Thanks to your continued support, we are not only able to intervene during disasters but also to invest in prevention, readiness and community resilience. Your contribution enables us to remain vigilant, equipped and capable of protecting vulnerable communities whenever the next emergency occurs.

We sincerely thank you for standing with us and for making this sustained readiness possible.
