Empower 2,000 Cambodian Kids Through Sport

We are excited to announce that this year, thanks to generous funding we have received, we will be able to expand our programme to reach even more young people in Siem Reap!

We have a new, highly qualified sports manager on board, so the programme outreach will begin as soon as possible. And that’s great news! We plan to begin working on securing a new field near our existing Helping Hands school and preparing it to be a sports pitch for the community and villages in our area. This facility will be a space for our community to come together – a centre of fun, learning, and cooperation for everyone – all through the means of sport! We look forward to showing you photos of the new area and sports in action on the pitch.

We will be hiring new coaches soon, so we will be introducing them over the coming months. With all of these new pieces in place, we can reach out to other communities in the Siem Reap province, spreading the value of sports education across the region. We are very excited for these new developments, and we know that 2019 is going to be a year of great achievement for the Cambodia Sports Programme! It will be the first programme of its kind in Siem Reap, and a great need will at last be met.
