Building on the Success of the First eSTEAM Festival
Following the remarkable success of the first-ever eSTEAM Festival held in Tangier, we are proud to share how your continued support is helping us deepen and expand its impact. Thanks to your generosity, the festival welcomed 60 inspiring girls from 18 cities across 10 regions of Morocco, offering them a transformative five-day experience focused on leadership, innovation, and technology.
More than a standalone event, the eSTEAM Festival marked the official launch of the year-long “Titrit Journey”. During the festival, participants took part in hands-on workshops in leadership, design thinking, coding, robotics, and entrepreneurship. Working in teams, they demonstrated exceptional creativity and collaboration by developing and presenting 11 innovative project ideas addressing critical challenges in education, health, sustainability, and poverty reduction.
The enthusiasm, confidence, and sense of purpose shown by the girls confirmed the urgent need for spaces like this, where young girls can explore STEAM fields, express their ideas, and envision themselves as changemakers.
From Inspiration to Action: Supporting Girls Beyond the Festival
Our commitment to the girls does not end with the festival. Building on the momentum of the first edition, we are actively following up with participants to support them in taking their ideas and ambitions further. The girls are being guided to:
Integrate advanced eSTEM Morocco programs such as Technovation, T-Inspire, and Tanirt
Connect with partner organizations, mentors, and opportunities aligned with their interests
Develop and launch their own initiatives or community projects, strengthening their leadership and entrepreneurial skills
Through this continued engagement, each participant is building her “POWERBOOK”, an augmented CV that documents her learning journey, achievements, projects, and personal growth. This long-term accompaniment is essential to transforming inspiration into concrete pathways toward education, careers, and social impact in STEAM.
Preparing the Second Edition: Expanding Opportunities for More Girls
Encouraged by the strong impact of the first edition and the positive feedback from girls, families, partners, and media, we are currently preparing the second edition of the eSTEAM Festival. This upcoming edition aims to reach even more girls, offering them the opportunity to discover STEAM fields, gain confidence, and join a supportive national network of young female innovators.
By scaling the festival, we seek to amplify its ripple effect, creating new role models, strengthening local ecosystems, and contributing to greater gender equity in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics across Morocco.
