Empower 50 Disable People in China

To have sustainble development of the person with disabilities(PWD), we support the DPO(disable people organization) to  held the law workshop.  After introducing  the Convention on the Rights of Person with Disabilities, the law consultant explain about the Chinese law related with PWD, which, we think, is critical important for the PWD to protect their rights legitiamtely. 

Thanks to the internet, we  can lalso hold on-line meeting for the PWD to discuss issure about barrier-free development. Not only this enable us to overcome the phycal distance and connet the scattered PWD together, but can reduce the latent hazards of going out during winter time. 

Spring Festvial is the most important festival in China. It symbols the end of the past and the begining of the future. During such time, Chinese people will held different events to celeberate the Spring Festival. The PWD, of course, won't be left. we worked with the DPO to held Spring Festival Events for the PWD. One event is organized the PWD to writing Spring Fesvital Couplet in brush pen. Writing and Pasting Spring Festival Couple is a tradtion custom for deliving auspicous blessings. The other event is to hold on-line talent performance. It's like the on-line carnival for the PWD to present themself on the stage. We do belive those events not only change the social stereotype towards the PWD, but also improve the PWD confidence.

After the Spring Fetival, the climate will become warmer and we expect to organize more events with the DPO.
