Sisterhood Agenda is excited to announce new program sites for SisterCamp and A Journey Toward Womanhood!
Currently, the activity manual, curriculum guide, and student workbooks are available as newly updated publications on Amazon and Barnes and Noble bookstores. Previously, the curriculum guide and workbooks were for Sisterhood Agenda global partner administrators only. By making Sisterhood Agenda global girl's empowerment educational materials publicly available, we can increase the number of administrators that can implement the program at various locations around the world.
In addition, Sisterhood Agenda will implement its own SisterCamp program near its offices in Baltimore County, Maryland during the summer, specifically in July 2023. Staffed by existing Sisterhood Agenda team members, youth leaders will play a pivotal part in this unique summer enrichment program’s success. While our local impact and capacity may seem limited, it can inspire many more through our new digital marketing strategy designed to highlight girl power programs, organization storytelling, and success.
More news! A Journey Toward Womanhood will soon become available as an online instructor-driven program, transferred from our site to a new learning platform, Teachable.com. We anticipate public readiness this spring 2023. With student workbook downloads and video tutorials, we are excited to reach a new generation using the newest technology and increase engagement in a unique way. The creation of new online communities with sisterhood, self-development, and support are just some of our lofty goals.
For students who may lack access to computers, A Journey Toward Womanhood participation can be done using cell phones and Sisterhood Agenda has laptop computers that will be sent to those who need them.
Sisterhood Agenda program activities go hand-in-hand with our comprehensive strategy that includes other offerings, such as the Young Sisterhood on the Rise Scholarship and our Girls Guide book series.
Included with Sisterhood Agenda’s community development PARKS Holistic Housing Project, Sisterhood Agenda also anticipates additional program space in Baltimore County by 2024 to increase the availability of local services.
New program sites, new partnerships, new awards, new products, and new global sisterhood members keep us motivated, inspired, and accountable as we continue to expand and grow.
