In the last fiscal quarter, Sisterhood Agenda added 15 new Global Partners, including the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
As Sisterhood Agenda’s Global Empowerment Project progresses, Sisterhood Agenda increased its focus on positive, alternative media that inspires and enlightens girls. More information about this exciting media initiative coming soon!
Sisterhood Agenda produced the public service announcement, We Are Beautiful, and posted it to YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Sisterhood Agenda continues to distribute A Journey Toward Womanhood Curriculum Guides and Student Manuals for educators and participants for sisterhood mentoring programs such as Sisterhood Agenda’s program for girls in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Sisterhood Agenda uses its blog at www.sisterhoodagenda.com to post dynamic content to further the goals of the Global Educational Empowerment project. Future posts include Global Partner activities, teacher resources and educational content from the curriculum, student manual, and Sisterhood Agenda Magazine.
Sisterhood Agenda will also travel to more Global Partner sites and programs to promote the project and its objectives, while also recruiting new participants.
