Sisterhood Agenda Global Training Academy
There are no women centers or female-centered facilities in St. John. As a groundbreaking first, Sisterhood Agenda will create a geographically and technologically centralized academy to continue its mission to uplift and aid in the self-development of women and girls.
Specifically, in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sisterhood Agenda will set up its Sisterhood Agenda Global Training Academy. With a media center utilizing the latest technology, girls from around the globe can connect with each other, even in disparate geographic areas. Sisterhood Agenda Global Partners (over 3,500 in 34 countries) can also utilize the Global Training Academy to access free or low-cost online services such as websites, videos, video conferencing, social media, webinars, meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
Sisterhood Agenda also plans to have overnight accommodations for special guests, volunteers, and interns from abroad. The Sisterhood Agenda Global Training Academy will be a holistic hub from which both locally-based and global projects will be administered. Working with larger and smaller groups of girls simultaneously, Sisterhood Agenda should reach a minimum of 100,000 girls through its Global Empowerment Training Program.
