The SEA is Coming!

By Angela D. Coleman | President

A new facility equipped to handle Sisterhood Agenda’s digital mentoring needs is coming! The Sisterhood Empowerment Academy (SEA) will invite a shared, multi-media experience. Housed under one roof (under the SEA), Sisterhood Agenda will focus its educational strategy on reading, writing, and holistic global health for optimal female empowerment.

A Sisterhood Agenda website makeover (now in progress) and social media revamp will accompany this enhanced experience. The new website will feature a new Global Sisterhood Directory that identifies the physical location and website for each Sisterhood Agenda Global Partner, as well as the Sisterhood Agenda programs and strategies that they are using in their local communities.

Sisterhood Agenda plans to hire a Digital Director to assist the agency in its global resource development and sharing plan, particularly its recommended reading list: Best Books for Black Girls. Many of these empowerment resources will be available online, as well as in printed form. Whenever possible, Sisterhood Agenda ships books and educational materials to its Global Partners directly. Many educational materials will also be shared via webinar format with sister circles with discussions facilitated by a mentor to enhance the learning experience.

Global consciousness, health and well-being, education, self-sufficiency, leadership development… The future of global girls is exciting! Thank you for being such an important part of this journey.
