Sisterhood Agenda is excited to move its partnerships with Reel Sisters based in New York and the International Black Women's Film Festival based in California to the next level by bringing films to the Positive Media project component of the Global Educational Empowerment for 100,000 Project.  By doing so, Sisterhood Agenda is expanding the reach of these organization beyond New York and California, to places in-between and interationally to Sisterhood Agenda's 3,500 global partners.

An important aspect of the Global Edcational Empowerment Project is Positive Media, seeing females of African descent in realistic, diverse cinematic representations.  In addition to films that are part of the these two film festivals, Sisterhood Agenda has been acquiring other media that will be accessible via lifestream (Internet) sharing.

Another key aspect of the Global Educational Empowement for 100,000 project is sisterhood mentoring.  Sisterhood Agenda continues to mentor its group of girls in St. John and will offer them, along with other youth in the community, paid positions to train and assist with youth leadership development efforts on the island.

The Sisterhood Empowerment Academy (SEA) is also a key component of the project strategy.  By having an eco-friendly, female-centered, space with a library and multi-media center, empowerment is a shared strategy with a physical, centralized space. Once the SEA is built (estimated date of completion February 2015), the livestreaming and global sharing will begin.

Sisterhood Agenda continues to publish its Black Girls Guide book series to empower girls.  It's latest guide, How to Be a Sister, has been the best-selling book of the series.
