Empower & Educate Ukraine's War-Affected Youth

As of October 1st, 2024, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund is supporting 10,209 children, with 10-15 more joining our programs every day. Among them, 2,493 children have received devices to help them continue their education—1,335 tablets and 1,113 laptops. In addition to laptops and tablets, children are also provided with computers and monitors. The need keeps increasing every day.

• 3,002 children have attended or are attending foreign language courses.
• 784 children have participated in creative classes.
• 1,494 children are strengthening their knowledge in core school subjects.
• 639 children are gaining vital skills through programming classes.
• 218 children are preparing for end-of-school exams, and many more are receiving support to reach their academic potential.

Anastasia's Journey: Education Through Art and Technology

Anastasia’s father was mobilized on February 25, 2022, as a veteran. He was deployed to the eastern front, and by June 25, 2022, the family received the devastating news that he was missing. Since then, Anastasia and her mother have been waiting for his return, living with uncertainty but holding on to hope.

Despite these challenges, Anastasia excels in her studies. Now in the 5th grade, she is not only a model student but also a dedicated helper to her mother. She attends Sunday school regularly and remains actively engaged in her community, particularly in regional poetry contests where she shares the reality of war through her art and words.

Thanks to the support of the Children of Heroes Fund, Anastasia has received various forms of assistance, including art supplies, mental health support, English lessons, and a tablet. This tablet has become a critical tool for her education. With it, Anastasia can continue her studies, participate in drawing classes, and engage in creative activities like painting by numbers, helping her cope with the trauma of war and express her emotions through art. The tablet has opened doors for Anastasia, enabling her to access online learning, stay connected with her peers, and expand her artistic talents.
