Empowering Ukraine's Youth: Journey to Education and Hope

By Marharyta | Customer Experience Manager

When the full-scale russian invasion began, Nastya’s life changed forever. Her father, a civilian, was in the Irpin (Kyiv region) at that time and tragically lost his life due to a rocket attack. For months, the family had no news of his fate. This devastating loss forced Nastya’s mother to work tirelessly to support the family, while Nastya, still so young, had to take on many responsibilities, growing up faster than she should have.

Despite these hardships, Nastya never lost sight of her dreams. With the Foundation’s support, she received essential humanitarian aid, including clothing, food, and household necessities. But most importantly, she was given the tools to continue her education—a tablet, a power bank, and access to multiple learning opportunities that helped her build a brighter future.

Nastya took part in numerous educational programs:

  • French language studies on the Preply platform

  • Ukrainian language and mathematics at Just School

  • English courses at TOP ENGLISH CLUB

  • Career guidance with Generation+

  • Business and leadership training at MBA Kids International

  • Preparatory courses from American University Kyiv

  • Graphic design lessons at ARTCLUB school

  • Skill development through the SkillzRun mobile app

Among these, the preparatory courses at American University Kyiv played a key role in shaping Nastya’s future. They helped her solidify her career choice and prepare for university admission. Thanks to her determination and the support she received, she successfully enrolled in her dream university, where she is now studying marketing.

Nastya’s story is one of resilience and hope. Despite unimaginable loss and hardship, she remained committed to her education, proving that with the right support, young people can overcome even the toughest obstacles. Today, she continues to strive toward her goals, taking confident steps toward a brighter future.

Your contributions to this project have made stories like Nastya’s possible. Thank you for believing in the power of education and for empowering Ukraine’s youth in these critical times.
