I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude and with a story I hope you will carry with joy and gratitude .

Samantha and  Gift  are just five years old. But until recently, their childhood had little room for play or dreaming.

Their father, lost to drink, spends his days in a haze. Their mother walks miles each morning to the village centre, where she kneels by the community water tap and washes clothes for other families. Sometimes they pay her in cash or her give her food a few cassava roots, a cup of beans enough to keep the children alive for another day.

The family survives on less than one dollar a day. When there is no work, there is no food. The neighbours help when they can, but they too are poor. Hunger was a permanent guest in their home.

When we first met Samantha and Gift, they had been out of school for months. Their uniforms were faded. Their eyes were tired.

But then, because of you, everything changed.

With your support, we stepped in. We sat with their mother. We enrolled the children back in school. We made sure there is food in the house not just today, but every day.

Today, Samantha and Gift  no longer wake up wondering what they will eat. They wake up and put on their uniforms. They walk to school with other children. They laugh. They learn. They are children again.

This is not a small thing. You made it possible.

We are pleased to present an update on the progress and achievements of the Sponsorship Program at GABA HOPE FOR KIDS Your generous support has been instrumental in providing vulnerable children with the resources they need to thrive. This report offers an overview of our accomplishments, the challenges we face, and our plans for the future, demonstrating the profound impact your contributions are making.

Our Sponsorship Program is designed to support children in need by offering access to education, healthcare, and essential resources. Thanks to your support, we have been able to make significant strides in improving the lives of many children across Uganda.

Educational support has been a cornerstone of our program. Sponsored children have received school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and other supplies necessary for their education. This assistance has resulted in increased school attendance and improved academic performance. Children who were once unable to attend school are now engaged in learning, showing marked progress in their studies.

The benefits of the Sponsorship Program extend beyond the individual children to their families and communities. By supporting these children, we are fostering broader community development and encouraging positive changes in local environments. Educational workshops and health initiatives have contributed to a supportive atmosphere that promotes child development.

Despite these achievements, we continue to face several challenges. Resource constraints sometimes limit our ability to provide comprehensive support across all areas. This includes challenges related to educational materials, healthcare services, and extracurricular activities. Additionally, geographic and logistical issues, such as poor infrastructure and transportation difficulties, affect our ability to deliver consistent support and monitor the progress of the children. The increasing demand for sponsorship further strains our capacity, as more children come forward seeking the assistance they need.

Looking ahead, we are committed to addressing these challenges and enhancing the effectiveness of our program. We plan to expand our partnerships with local and international organizations to increase resources and support. These collaborations will help us broaden our reach and improve the quality of our services. Strengthening our monitoring and evaluation processes will ensure that the support we provide is effective and allows us to make data-driven improvements. We will also focus on increasing community involvement to build sustainability and ensure that our support is relevant and impactful. Additionally, we intend to introduce new support services, such as vocational training, mental health support, and extracurricular activities, to offer a more comprehensive approach to child development.

The success of the Sponsorship Program reflects the incredible generosity and commitment of our donors. Your support has been transformative, providing children with hope, opportunities, and a pathway to a better future.
