Reading for Change - Literacy Programs at GAHOK
*Focus*: GABA HOPE FOR KIDS' efforts to boost literacy in children in school and in the slum areas of Wakiso
*Key Initiatives*:
- *Book Donations*: Providing age-appropriate books.
- *Reading Clubs*: Encouraging storytelling, comprehension.
- *Teacher Training*: Strategies for engaging literacy lessons and how to improve on the children learning capabilities.
*Impact*:
- Students show improved reading skills, confidence.
- Communities value education more.
*Challenges*: Limited funding and resources to supply and support the required resources to all children.
