Heartfelt appeal.

Report: A Heartfelt Appeal, Become A Child’s Hope
Theme: Hope Has A Name, And Today It Can Be Yours at Gaba Hope for Kids

A heartfelt appeal, become a child’s hope. Since 2021 we have supported over 860 children, and every child we kept had one thing in common: someone chose to be their hope before they disappeared. Today another child is at risk. Today another future is waiting for someone to say “I see you. I will not let go.”

*Why Your Hope Matters Right Now*
1. *Absence Starts Quiet*: A girl misses two days. A boy stops raising his hand. An orphan sits alone. Teachers see it first. If no one becomes hope in that week, absence becomes dropout. Your choice stops the chain before it starts.
2. *Barriers Move Faster Than Childhood*: Roofs leak. Materials run out. Periods bring shame. Pressure for early marriage arrives when grades fall. A child cannot outrun these barriers alone. They need a partner who acts before hope fades.
3. *Hope Is Not A Feeling, It Is A Decision*: Hope is a dry seat when rain falls. Hope is a book when hands are empty. Hope is a menstrual kit that says “your body is not a problem.” Hope is a mentor who learns a name and saves a seat.
4. *One Person Changes The Story*: Teachers tell us, “I knew support worked when I saw hope on their faces again.” That hope started with one person who refused to look away. That person can be you.

*What Happens When You Become A Child’s Hope*
1. *A Child Stays In Class*: Your choice keeps a child present while others leave. Presence beats pressure when someone stays with them term after term.
2. *A Girl Keeps Her Dignity*: You protect her from choosing between her body and her education. She finishes the month in class with confidence, not shame.
3. *An Orphan Believes Again*: A child without parents receives a book, a mentor, a welcome. For the first time they write their name bold and believe they belong.
4. *A Future Stays Open*: Marriage waits. Dropout stops. Dreams get time to grow. Because you became hope, a child gets to choose their own tomorrow.

One teacher told us: “I stopped counting who was missing and started teaching who was present. That change came because partners chose to be hope for one child.” That is the power you carry.

*The Heartfelt Appeal*
We are not asking you to fix everything. We are asking you to choose one child. To stand between that child and the barrier that would remove them. To be the reason a teacher can say “everyone is present today.”

Become a child’s hope by staying when barriers grow heavy.
Become a child’s hope by protecting dignity before shame arrives.
Become a child’s hope by proving that generosity is measured in children kept, not gifts given.

*Closing*
A heartfelt appeal, become a child’s hope. The need is still urgent. The proof is still strong. Children are still waiting for someone to notice them before the world looks away.

Today, a child is deciding if school is their place. Today, a girl is deciding if she will stay all month. Today, an orphan is deciding if anyone believes in them.

Your decision can be their answer.

Thank you for considering this appeal. Thank you for believing that every child deserves to learn without shame. Thank you for proving that one person’s hope can keep a future open.

From every child who dared to believe again because someone chose to stay — will you become their hope today?

Hope is waiting. And it has a child’s name on it.
