Report: Impact Of Your Hand
Theme: One Hand Reaches, Many Futures Rise at Gaba Hope for Kids
Impact of your hand. Since 2021 we have supported over 860 children, and every child still in class carries the mark of a hand that reached. Your hand. A hand that repaired before rain fell. A hand that filled before shame grew. A hand that called a name before absence became goodbye.
What Your Hand Does
Your Hand Opens Doors: A leaking roof becomes shelter. Empty hands become books. A girl’s fear becomes dignity. Your hand turns “closed” into “enter here.”
Your Hand Lifts Burdens: Orphans who carried fear of being unwanted feel weight lift when your hand saves a seat and learns a name. Your hand tells them “you are not alone.”
Your Hand Stops Silence: Girls who hid behind shame find voice when your hand protects health and cleanliness with respect. Your hand turns hiding into leading.
Your Hand Protects Choice: Pressure tries to decide a girl’s tomorrow. Your hand holds education open until she can choose it herself. Your hand keeps the path clear.
How The Impact Of Your Hand Spreads
Dignity Through Your Touch: Your hand provides menstrual support and respect. The impact is a girl present all month, confident, learning, unafraid. Dignity starts with your hand.
Belonging Through Your Reach: Your hand reaches through mentors who notice and classmates who protect. The impact is an orphan who believes he belongs. Belonging starts with your hand.
Early Action Through Your Notice: Your hand moves teachers to see the quiet before dropout. The impact is a child kept while hope still breathes. Early action starts with your hand.
Presence Through Your Hold: Your hand keeps seats dry and classrooms safe. The impact is a child who has air to dream again. Presence is held by your hand.
What Teachers And Children Say About Your Hand
“Your Hand Brought Her Back”: Teachers say when your hand reached, girls who disappeared returned to the front row. Impact begins with reach.
“I Felt Your Hand In My Name”: Children tell us the moment a mentor learned their name, they felt chosen. Your hand makes children feel seen.
“Your Hand Gave Me A Future”: Girls share that your hand protecting health and dignity made them believe their future was still theirs. Impact becomes a life chosen.
“One Hand Became Many”: Classmates who saw your hand reach now reach for each other. Impact multiplies through hands you inspired.
Why The Impact Of Your Hand Matters Now
Hands Cannot Wait: Barriers move fast. Shame moves fast. Your hand must reach early while children can still be held.
One Hand Multiplies: When your hand reaches one child, others learn to reach. One hand becomes a classroom of hands. One hand becomes a community of care.
Generosity Is Measured In Futures Held: We do not count what was given. We count children still standing because your hand held them. Your hand is that reason.
Closing
Impact of your hand. Because your hand repaired, a child stayed dry. Because your hand provided, a girl stayed present. Because your hand called a name, an orphan believed.
Thank you for reaching. Thank you for being the breath, the book, the seat, the name called that only a hand can give.
Every barrier your hand moves is a future protected. Every child your hand touches is hope restored.
From every child still learning because of the impact of your hand — thank you for reaching and not letting go.
Will you keep your hand extended with us this term so more children can feel its impact and stay.
