Report: The Hope You Planted
Theme: Hope Planted Today Becomes A Forest Tomorrow
At Gaba Hope for Kids

The hope you planted
Since 2021 we have watched hope take root in children who had none left. You planted it when you chose to stay, when you chose to protect, when you chose to keep a child present. What you planted as a seed is now growing as courage, dignity, and belief.

What the hope you planted looks like
Hope planted becomes presence: A child who almost disappeared now sits in class every day. The hope you planted turned absence into a seat that stays filled.
Hope planted becomes dignity: A girl who hid during her cycle now walks with her head up. The hope you planted turned shame into confidence.
Hope planted becomes belonging: An orphan who felt unwanted now writes his name bold on every book. The hope you planted turned silence into “I belong here.”
Hope planted becomes choice: A girl who faced pressure now chooses her book first. The hope you planted turned pressure into a future she decides.

How you planted that hope
You planted hope through protection: Keeping roofs dry and classrooms safe so fear did not uproot learning.
You planted hope through dignity: Guarding girl health and cleanliness so no child is chased from class by her own body.
You planted hope through belonging: Learning names, saving seats, noticing quiet so no child feels invisible.
You planted hope through choice: Holding the door of education open until each girl can choose her own tomorrow.

What teachers and children say about the hope you planted
“I see it in her eyes”: Teachers say the hope you planted shows up as questions asked again, hands raised again, dreams spoken again.
“My heart is lighter”: Children say the hope you planted made fear lose weight and made tomorrow feel possible.
“She is teaching others now”: Girls who received the hope you planted are planting it in younger students. Hope multiplies.
“Our home changed”: Families say the hope you planted at school is growing at home as respect, patience, and new plans.

Why the hope you planted matters now
Hope cannot grow after a child is gone. You planted it early, while roots could still hold.
One hope planted becomes many: One child who believes teaches a friend to believe. One girl who stays shows another girl how to stay.
We measure your gift in growth: Not in what was given, but in what is growing. The hope you planted is growing into graduates, leaders, healers, builders.

Closing
The hope you planted
Because you planted hope, a child stayed.
Because you planted hope, a girl chose school.
Because you planted hope, an orphan believed he matters.

Thank you for planting hope when the soil was hard.
Thank you for watering it with dignity, presence, and care.
Thank you for trusting that what you plant today will shade children tomorrow.

The hope you planted is growing.
From one child to a classroom.
From one classroom to a community.
From one community to a future.

Will you keep planting hope with us this term so more children can root, rise, and reach for the future you believed they deserve.
