Report: We Give Them Three Meals Per Day To Help Them Flourish
Theme: Full Stomachs, Full Minds, Futures That Bloom at Gaba Hope for Kids

We give them three meals per day to help them flourish. Since 2021 we have walked beside over 860 children, and we have seen what hunger does to a story. Hunger steals presence. Hunger silences questions. Hunger makes a child choose survival over learning. But when we give them three meals per day, hunger loses its hold. Flourish becomes possible. A child who is fed can sit still, think clearly, ask boldly, and dream wide. Three meals per day means the soil is rich enough for futures to bloom.

What Three Meals Per Day Does For Flourishing
Three Meals Grow Presence: A hungry child cannot stay when storms come and days are long. Fed children stay in class from first lesson to last. Fed presence means absence loses its excuse.
Three Meals Grow Dignity: Hunger makes girls hide and shrink. Three meals per day give girls strength to walk in all month with confidence. Fed dignity means menstrual days are met with energy, not shame.
Three Meals Grow Belonging: A hungry child feels like a burden in the back of the room. Fed children raise hands, share answers, save seats for friends. Fed belonging means no child eats alone or learns alone.
Three Meals Grow Choice: Hunger pushes girls to choose work over school just to fill a gap. Three meals per day remove that pressure so girls can choose education first. Fed choice means tomorrow belongs to the girl, not to hunger.

How We Help Them Flourish With Three Meals Per Day
We Feed Before Lessons Begin: We make sure children eat before their minds are asked to work. Fed before learning means thoughts are clear and focus is steady.
We Feed With Respect: Meals are shared in community, with privacy and care, so no child feels small for being hungry. Respectful feeding means dignity grows with every plate.
We Feed To Keep Them Present: We know empty hands send children to markets and fields. Three meals per day keep children present for books instead of sent away for survival. Fed and present means learning continues.
We Feed So Futures Can Bloom: Flourish is not just today. Well-fed children grow stronger bodies and sharper minds for years to come. Fed for tomorrow means futures that bloom, not just survive.

What Teachers, Children, And Guardians See Flourishing
“Fed Children Ask More Questions”: Teachers say when children receive three meals per day, classrooms become louder with curiosity. Questions asked means minds are flourishing.
“I Can Think Now, Not Just Be Hungry”: Children say full stomachs let their minds wake up. Thinking instead of hunger means a child flourishes in class.
“She Comes Home With Energy To Grow”: Guardians say fed children return home with strength for chores and dreams. Energy to grow means families flourish together.
“One Fed Child Invites Others”: Children who eat and learn now call friends who were missing. One child fed means many children return to flourish.

Why Three Meals Per Day To Help Them Flourish Matters Now
Hunger Closes Doors Quietly: A child does not announce when hunger wins. They just stop coming. We give three meals per day while children are still present. Fed in time means futures not lost.
Flourish Multiplies Hope: When one child is fed and flourishes, other children see that school means growth, not just struggle. Multiplied flourish means more children choose to stay.
Generosity Is Measured In Children Flourishing: We do not count what was given. We count children who flourish because three meals per day kept hunger away. Your support is the meal that makes flourishing possible.

Closing
We give them three meals per day to help them flourish. Because you support presence, we feed children so they can stay. Because you protect dignity, we feed girls so they walk in strong. Because you build belonging, we share meals in community so no child is left out. Because you hold choice open, we remove hunger so girls can choose school.

Thank you for knowing that minds cannot flourish on empty. Thank you for being the breath, the book, the seat, the name called that also says: eat, grow, flourish.

Every child who receives three meals per day becomes a child who can flourish in class. Every child who flourishes becomes a future that feeds hope back into the world.

From every child whose mind and body are flourishing because you fed them — thank you for giving them more than food. You gave them room to bloom.
