1. INTRODUCTION

Hope for Kids is a community-led initiative in Gaba supporting over 500 needy and orphan children. This quarter was guided by our core values: Justice, Dignity and Unwavering commitment.

Justice means every child deserves a chance to learn.
Dignity means we serve each child with respect.
Unwavering means even in hard times, we continue.

2. OUR MISSION IN ACTION

A. Justice Through Education
We believe justice is giving every child a fair chance in class.

From our organizational review this quarter:
- Our strength is strong community ownership
- Our main challenge is dependence on limited funding
- Our plan is to strengthen our community SACCO, train parents in vocational skills, and diversify funding

- High number of children seeking support daily
- Limited food and scholastic materials
- Rain affecting building progress

5. NEXT STEPS

- Complete kitchen construction
- Complete classroom construction
- Support 50 most vulnerable children for next school term
- Train 20 mothers in income generating skills
