1. INTRODUCTION
GABA HOPE FOR KIDS is located in Kisigula Village, Wakiso District. Our mission is to ensure orphans and vulnerable children stay in school and to empower their mothers or guardians with sustainable livelihood skills.

2. OUR BELIEF
We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Every child, no matter their background, deserves a chance to stay in school, learn, and dream.

3. ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTED

A. Education Support Program
- Distributed scholastic materials including books, pens, pencils, and school bags to vulnerable children.
- Supported children who were at risk of dropping out with school fees.
- Conducted after-school support and encouragement visits.

B. Vulnerable Mothers Empowerment
- Trained mothers in liquid soap making and tailoring as income-generating activities.
- Provided start-up kits for mothers to begin small businesses.
- Held mentorship sessions on savings and parenting.

C. Child Protection and Home Visits
- Conducted home visits to assess children's living conditions, health, and school attendance.
- Provided counseling and guidance to guardians.

5. IMPACT STORY - MEET FAITH
Faith is a young girl in primary school. She lost her parents and lives with her grandmother who had no money for books and school fees. Faith had missed school.

Through our supporters, we provided her with books, uniform, and school fees support. Today, Faith is back in school, smiling, and performing well in class.

Faith says: Thank you for helping me to go back to school. I want to become a teacher.

6. CHALLENGES
- High demand: More children are coming for support than our current resources can handle.
- Rising costs of school fees and materials.
- Limited support for the next school term.
- Need for more space for mothers skills training.

7. PLAN FOR NEXT MONTH
- Prepare for end-of-year school examinations support.
- Distribute more uniforms and shoes.
- Train additional mothers.
- Fundraise for next school year.
- Host a community appreciation day for children.
