Supporting a child’s education requires more than placing them in a classroom. It requires creating an environment where they can learn, participate, feel valued, and remain motivated to continue.
As we enter this new month, GAHOK is working to complete another important cycle of support for children in the communities we serve. Our final activities include distributing essential necessities, providing menstrual pads to girls, delivering books, conducting mentorship sessions, and preparing children for their examinations.
For children facing poverty and other vulnerabilities, these forms of support can remove practical barriers that may otherwise interfere with their education.
Our mentorship and counseling sessions will also help children prepare emotionally and mentally for examinations and future educational transitions. For those completing their final primary leaving examinations, we are preparing additional encouragement and support as they approach this important milestone.
