Greetings from Uganda and Happy Holidays!
Thank you for being one of the first donors to our brand new project that focuses on the most vulnerable girls of Namuwongo. We're just ramping up, but hope that the giving holiday spirit will continue throughout December so we can sponsor even more girls into our program next year!
We've continued to support our older female students through ongoing training workshops teaching them about menstruation and providing them with free reusable sanitary products. A big THANK YOU to AfriPads for providing all of the materials and products with which we've been able to equip our young women with the tools and knowledge they need.
We'd also like to give a big welcome to our brand new staff member, Fifi, who has started providing dedicated 1:1 support to those students that are really struggling. Thanks to her hard work, we're already seeing improvements big improvement in the children's reading ability and interest in class.
