For many disadvantaged women, the greatest risks come not from a lack of effort—but from a lack of opportunity.
Without access to skills and stable income, women are more vulnerable to economic shocks, unsafe work conditions, and exploitation. That is why skills are one of the strongest forms of protection a woman can have.
Through the Empower Disadvantaged Women with Sustainable Livelihoods project, we equip women with practical skills, mentoring, and pathways to sustainable income. These skills provide more than earnings—they offer confidence, dignity, and control over their own future.
When women have sustainable livelihoods:
They are better protected from economic vulnerability
They gain bargaining power and self-confidence
Their families become more secure and resilient
Communities grow stronger and more inclusive
This project is not about short-term assistance. It is about building protection through capability—so women can stand on their own, make informed choices, and shape their futures with dignity.
Support skills that protect. Support women’s resilience.
