Project Report | Feb 4, 2026
From Informal Labor to Sustainable Livelihoods

By Anny Hidayati | Project Staff

Too many women work every day without security, protection, or a stable income.

In rural Indonesia, informal labor is often the only option for disadvantaged women—low-paid, uncertain, and vulnerable to exploitation. This project helps women move from informal labor to sustainable livelihoods by providing skills training, mentoring, and support to build safe, income-generating work.

With your support, women can:

  • Develop practical, market-relevant skills

  • Build reliable and dignified sources of income

  • Reduce dependence on unstable or unsafe work

  • Strengthen their families’ economic security

This is not about temporary assistance—it is about creating pathways to long-term independence and resilience.

Help women transition from informal labor to sustainable livelihoods.

Together, we can transform hard work into lasting opportunity—and vulnerability into strength.
