Dear Donors,
Thank you for supporting this project to empower children and young adults in Northern Nigeria through education, vocational training, and mentorship. Your support can open doors to learning and livelihoods for youth facing extreme poverty and insecurity.
Northern Nigeria has some of the lowest school attendance rates in Africa. Millions of children are out of school due to poverty, lack of safe learning spaces, and cultural barriers, with girls especially affected by early marriage. Without access to education or job skills, youth remain vulnerable to exploitation, child labor, and violence, perpetuating cycles of poverty.
This project creates safe community centers and mobile learning hubs where children gain literacy and numeracy skills, while young adults receive vocational training in tailoring, carpentry, and small trades. Local mentors provide guidance and support, ensuring a secure environment for learning. By covering costs for supplies, training, and safe spaces, the project helps youth stay in school and develop income-generating skills.
Over time, educated and skilled youth are better able to avoid early marriage and exploitative work, support their families, and contribute to stable, self-reliant communities.
At this stage, no donations have been received yet, but we remain hopeful that with your support, we can provide safe education and training to Northern Nigerian youth.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
