In Nigeria, many girls are full of curiosity but face barriers in science education. Lack of access, mentorship, and resources keeps talented girls from STEM careers. This project will empower 300 young women and girls in Nigeria to pursue science through training, mentorship, and scholarships, giving them the tools to innovate, lead, and transform their communities.
Cultural bias, limited resources, and lack of role models prevent girls in Nigeria from pursuing science. Many drop out of school or never try STEM, losing the chance to become innovators or leaders. This inequality keeps communities from benefiting from the ideas and talents of half the population. Urgent support is needed to bridge this gap.
We provide scholarships, mentorship, STEM workshops, and access to labs and online courses. Girls learn coding, robotics, research methods, and critical thinking skills. Mentors guide them to pursue STEM careers confidently. By empowering at least 300 girls in science, we unlock innovation, economic opportunities, and future leadership for their communities.
Our goal is gender equality in STEM across Nigeria. We aim to nurture hundreds of girls into confident scientists and innovators. By creating a supportive network, scholarships, and long-term mentorship, we envision communities where girls thrive in science, break barriers, and inspire the next generation to lead with knowledge and creativity.
