On August 10, 2026, a new generation of 50 girls and boys officially began their journey at Centro Mayama. The children were welcomed into the Center and started their first sessions as part of a three-year educational process designed to strengthen their life skills and support their emotional, cognitive, and social development.
During their first day, the children had the opportunity to discover the different spaces and facilities at Centro Mayama, explore and enjoy the play areas, share meals together, and participate in their first educational activities. These initial experiences helped them become familiar with the Center, build trust, and begin creating connections with their peers and educators.
Over the next three years, the children will participate in a comprehensive educational process focused on developing essential life skills. Through age-appropriate activities and continuous accompaniment, they will have opportunities to strengthen their emotional well-being, cognitive abilities, social relationships, communication, and other skills that can contribute to their personal development and future opportunities.
