Your impact in 2025 so far

Epic Arts Progress Report

Thanks to your continued support, our message of disability inclusion is reaching further than ever, across Cambodia and beyond! From empowering young people through inclusive dance to expanding our educational outreach this year has been full of powerful moments made possible by your generosity.

Dance for Change: Epic Arts Dance Highlights

On International Women’s Day, our inclusive dance team performed On Equal Ground in collaboration with the Cambodian Ministry of Women’s Affairs, celebrating the strength and voices of women with disabilities.

We're continuing to grow our presence on TikTok through dance challenges, rehearsal clips, and awareness raising content. Our handle @epicartsdance is becoming a vibrant hub for inclusive creativity.

As Cambodia’s first and only inclusive professional dance company we continue to break barriers, nationally and internationally.

Breaking Barriers Through Collaboration

In February, we partnered with Phare Ponleu Selpak (Battambang) for a unique fusion project: Into the Jungle, blending circus arts and contemporary dance.

Our dancers learned new performance skills like:

  • Diablo
  • Fire fans & staffs
  • Silks and acrobatics
This partnership wasn’t just about art, it was about mutual learning, mindset change and inclusion.

“This experience has completely changed my mindset. They may have disabilities, but they perform just as well as anyone else.”
– Taro, Artist from Phare

Empowering Youth Through Vocational Training

In December 2024, students from our Inclusive Arts Course (IAC) graduated, marking a major milestone in their personal and professional journeys.

  • Several students began internships in hospitality and salon services
  • Others have continued their education at local polytechnic institutions
  • All graduates left with improved confidence, essential life skills and a vision for their future

We’re so proud of their growth and excited to see where their journeys take them next!

Child Protection Through the ChildSafe Initiative

Since 2019, Epic Arts has led the ChildSafe Initiative in Kampot, training community members and businesses to protect children from abuse, exploitation and neglect.

In 2025, we continue our work:

  • Raising awareness about child protection
  • Training hospitality staff and community leaders
  • Promoting child safe practices, especially in tourism-heavy areas

Inclusive Education: Growing Our Reach

We are now supporting 60+ children with disabilities across five partner schools through our inclusive education program. Our dedicated staff and assistants ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Creating Safer, More Inclusive Spaces

Our project team recently oversaw the renovation of accessible bathrooms and the construction of a new classroom at a local primary school. These upgrades ensure that all children, regardless of ability, have a safe, welcoming place to learn and grow.

Social Media Reach & Global Awareness

Since the start of 2025, Epic Arts videos, stories and updates have been viewed over 250,000 times across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Every like, share and comment is more than just engagement, it helps spread our message of inclusion and disability rights across borders. Our growing online community is a key part of raising awareness and changing attitudes globally.

Thank You for Making This Possible

Your support helps us create a world where Every Person Counts (EPiC) online and offline, on stage and in the classroom.

Together, we’re building a more inclusive Cambodia where people with disabilities are seen, heard and celebrated.
