Supporting Women in Agriculture
Agriculture remains a key livelihood in rural Uganda, and many women are using their microloans to invest in farming activities. Development Alert’s initiative is helping them improve productivity and income.
Beneficiaries are purchasing seeds, tools, and livestock, enabling them to increase yields and diversify their production.
With no interest burden, women can reinvest profits into expanding their agricultural activities. This leads to greater food security and income stability.
Training and peer support further enhance their success, helping them adopt better practices and manage resources effectively.
This program is making a meaningful difference in the lives of rural women farmers. We thank our supporters for their role in this transformation.
