By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader
Dear Esteemed Supporters,
On behalf of the Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization (RWAYDAVO), I extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support and commitment to our mission. Your generosity is the backbone of our work, and we are deeply grateful for your belief in the power of community-led change.
I would like to update you on the status of our initiative, "Build a Bright Future for 25 Marginalized Girls." Although we’ve made an encouraging start by raising $232, we are still in the process of mobilizing the full resources required to officially launch the program. We truly appreciate every contribution, and we remain optimistic that with your continued support, we will be able to begin implementation very soon.
This project aims to equip 25 vulnerable young women with practical skills in Sewing, Handicrafts, and Bag Making, enabling them to generate sustainable income and support their families. Beyond skills training, our vision includes forming a women-led cooperative, empowering these girls not only to earn but also to reinvest 50% of their cooperative earnings into expanding the program—ensuring its longevity and scaling its impact to reach even more girls in the future.
This initiative is not just about vocational training—it’s about restoring dignity, building independence, and creating lasting change in our communities. Your role in this journey is indispensable.
Thank you once again for being part of this transformative work. Together, we are not only building futures—we are building hope, resilience, and empowered generations to come.
With deepest appreciation,
Jean Damascene UWIZEYIMANA
President, RWAYDAVO
