It’s all happening in Chadza! Construction is well underway, and the team are making some fantastic progress on the buildings. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Ngala mountain with the smaller Msozi mountain in the foreground, the school’s location is truly a sight to behold. The main building will feature two sections: a larger store and a smaller room dedicated to egg incubation, training, and the production of day-old chicks. Additionally, the site will include a toilet block and a guard house. Once constructed, the school will serve as a demonstration site, facilitating training on healthy and sustainable poultry production. Its incubation facility will address supply challenges in the area, providing local breeds of day-old chicks that are more resilient and require lower input than typical commercial birds making them a more sustainable and affordable choice for local households. We are thrilled to see this project come to life and look forward to the positive impact it will have on the community!
