Project Report | Dec 19, 2022
Happy Children

By Andrew Mullens | Kimbilio Support

Thank you for your generous donations to the new Kimbilio School. The school is now in its second year and we are waiting for the Congolese Government to register it as a State school. So Kimbilio is still paying the saleries of the teachers. Once registered, the Government will pay the salaries.

The school serves the children living in the two Kimbilio short-term houses and the two long-term houses plus lots of children from families who live in the neighbourhood. It has been so rewarding to see children getting education who previously had been living on the streets and it provides them with hope of a better future.
