Education is the key

By Andrew Mullens | Kimbilio Support

Thank you so much for your financial support for the Kimbilio project 'Empower Street Children's Education - build a School'. In addition to the pupils from the Kimbilio houses, the school is proving very popular with familes who live in the school neighbourhood.

There were 284 pupils at the new school in December 2022 - 15 pupils at Nursery level, 233 pupils at Primary level and 36 at Secondary level. 30 of these pupils were from Kimbilio houses so we were able to provide education to 254  children from local families. The school is making such a difference to these young children's lives because education is the key to them gaining good jobs and bring up a family.

Your gifts are being used to pay for the salaries of the staff at the school plus associated costs of teaching materials and maintainence of the building and grounds.
