Empowering 30,000 Students in Niger State

Since the last report, the Empowering 30,000 Students in Niger State project has continued to expand its reach, with financial support remaining central to sustaining and increasing our impact. During this reporting period, additional funds were directed toward purchasing and distributing school supplies, learning materials, uniforms, and textbooks, while targeted financial assistance helped vulnerable families cover essential education-related costs such as transportation and school attendance expenses.

With the support received, an additional 8,000 students were reached during the period, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to approximately 15,000 students. Funding also supported the expansion of after-school tutoring in mathematics, English, and basic science across additional schools. These investments have contributed to improved attendance, stronger classroom participation, and better learning outcomes among participating students.

Financial resources continue to be essential to reaching the remaining 15,000 students and ensuring that previously supported beneficiaries continue receiving the assistance they need. The project remains focused on responsible use of available funds, prioritizing direct educational support and services that produce measurable benefits for vulnerable children and their families. Continued donor support will enable Elite Star Foundation to expand its activities, reduce financial barriers to education, and move closer to the goal of empowering 30,000 students across Niger State.
