Empowering disadvantaged youth through education

Hello, my name is Kyle* and I graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and now officially licensed as an Electrical Engineer. When I was in CAMELEON, I became an advocate through years and served as the VCC** President way back in 2020. I have been one of the youth ambassadors of CAMELEON, who are spreading awareness about children's rights and responsibilities in the community.

Having been a CAMELEON beneficiary was a privilege because I could finish my studies and achieve everything I have right now thanks to their support. I also learned a lot in CAMELEON through different workshops and trainings that have been very essential since I will have a job soon. CAMELEON also helped my family a lot with different seminars and activities that made our family strong. 

I feel much better today than before, because I know I couldn't have finished my studies in college without the help of CAMELEON, given that studying in a city is quite expensive and that my family couldn't provide for my needs.

My greatest inspiration in my journey is my very hardworking mother and my family. I can see all their sacrifices just to provide for all our needs. Also, one of my inspirations is all the children that we encountered in the communities. I would like to help other children someday according to my capacities.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to CAMELEON Association and to Tita Lulu (Laurence Ligier, Foundress) through this initiative and program. Thanks to CAMELEON, many children reached their dreams and so many families were uplifted from poverty. I know that someday, our world will become safe and free from all kinds of abuses.
