Empowering disadvantaged youth through education

Dear Donors,

We are delighted to share recent progress from our Empowering Disadvantaged Youth Through Education program in the Philippines. 

Thanks to your support, vulnerable youth aged 15 to 24 continue to access education, healthcare, life skills, and job placement opportunities—building resilience, confidence, and brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

The past months have brought significant milestones: 

• 57 students graduated, a powerful symbol of perseverance, hard work and hope for the future. With strengthened confidence and essential life skills, they are now ready to step into society as empowered individuals. 

• Summer Camp 2025 brought together over 600 children, parents, youth, alumni, staff and partners for a weekend of creativity, sports and community building under the theme “Leading the Change, Shaping the Future”.

• In June, a youth delegation from CAMELEON Philippines visited CAMELEON France—including Rico, a community development beneficiary and CAMELEON Youth Advocate—strengthening the ties between our teams and sharing moving testimonies that embody CAMELEON’s mission and impact.

Rico shared that CAMELEON helped him discover his true purpose: serving others and raising awareness on issues like reproductive health, teenage pregnancy and HIV/AIDS. He expressed deep gratitude to sponsors for providing the resources that make this advocacy possible, reaffirming his commitment to work tirelessly toward the common goal of ending violence and building safer communities.
