The Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan's Beautician Vocational Educational School has been providing valuable training to women and girls in the field of beauty and cosmetology. The method of retaining the theoretical knowledge gained during the training is very important. Trainees diligently attend the 3 month training program, learning various beauty techniques and concepts. Yet, after completion, some struggle to remember and apply all they have learned due to the sheer volume of information. This memory lapse hinders their ability to perform optimally as beauticians.
To address this challenge, One effective solution is the creation of comprehensive theoretical skill practical files. These practical files serve as reference guides for trainees, containing detailed notes and visual aids illustrating the techniques and concepts covered in the training. Trainees are encouraged to regularly update their skill files throughout the training period. These files would include written explanations, diagrams, and illustrations of different beauty procedures, products, and their applications. Additionally, interactive workshops and revision sessions are conducted where trainees are guided on how to effectively organize and utilize these files for review. The introduction of quizzes, group discussions, and practical demonstrations further reinforce their understanding.
Implementing this solution would yield several positive outcomes. Firstly, trainees benefit from enhanced memory retention and improved comprehension of beauty concepts. This empowers them to provide high-quality beauty services confidently, boosting their employability and income-generating potential. Secondly, the theoretical skill files serve as a valuable resource even after the training period, enabling trainees to continually refresh their knowledge and stay updated with evolving beauty trends and techniques.
