We Have Been Getting your Valuable Generous support through GlobalGiving and we are Thankful to you from the Core of our Heart.

An Impact Story:- I'm Chameli and my age is 35 years. My village is far away from the nearest city due to which we have limited resources of earnings. We depend on the work of rope-yarn for employment. The family members work all together to make mat, mudda, curtain, broom, and other art & craft articles. I took loan from a local moneylender for the work at higher rate of interest. As the rope-yarn work gets us limited profit, the entire earnings went to the moneylender that made my family and me to face severe financial problems.

During those days, I got associated with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan through a Ramdev self-help group. RSKS works for women empowerment under which we were joined to bank and got a loan at low rate of interest sanctioned by the organization. First, I repaid the loan taken by the moneylender with the amount of bank loan and get freed from him. The benefit of repaying the moneylender's loan was that I no longer had to pay the entire profit to him. After some time I replayed the bank loan with the help of my savings from earnings, then I got another loan sanctioned with the help of RSKS through the self-help group. I bought raw material and tools with the amount of the second loan and manufactured so many articles of art & craft and other useful products. After selling the handmade products I started earning better than ever.

I have plan for future that first I will repay the bank loan and then will apply for another loan and buy ten goats from the amount of that loan and will start dairy business. Now, my family lives a happy life and I am also able to provide better education and nurturing to my children. It has been possible just because of RSKS that brought positive changes to my life and now I'm capable enough to lead my family. I am thankful to RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart.

An Impact Story:- 46 year old Vimla comes from deprived community and resides in a distant village of the city. she lives with her husband and two children. Her husband does labor for earnings, but he doesn't earn enough to fulfill the basic requirements of the family. Even they can't arrange education and nurturing for their children. Vimala told us that sometimes they had to face such severe conditions when they had nothing to eat.

Facing financial crisis, Vimla came to know about RSKS's project that provides loan at lower rate of interest to poor and deprived women. She met with our activist and got associated with us through udan self-help group. After some time Vimla got her bank loan sanctioned through self-help group. She started a confectionary shop with the amount of the loan. She started with limited stock and it was a concern for her that the stock was not demanded by the localities in the beginning. But after some time, she got a good response from the localities and she started earning a good income.

Now, her shop remains full of stock every time due to the demand generated by the localities. Her husband also supports her in the work. She gradually increases the stock in the shop that increases her profit. All the villagers buy confectionary items from her shop as she sells goods at reasonable prices. A positive change can also be seen in Vimla's life is that she now provides better education and health to her children and also improves her family conditions for which she thanks RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation.
