An IMPACT !!****
In order to make poor and deprived women financially strengthen, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been working successfully. RSKS makes such women united through women self help groups and supports them to get bank loan at lower rate of interest to start self-employment. In the monthly meeting of self help groups, we get the progress of the members of the group that we share in the form of story in the report.
My name is Sohani (Name Changed) and I'm 34 years old. The traditional occupation of my family is to make artificial jewellery. It is 3 years since I have joined RSKS. Before that, I was totally flatbroke, but it was not from the beginning. Some years ago, my family is one of the prosperous and happy living families of the village. We did the work of artificial jewellery, but we had to bear sudden loss in the business that made us to live in financial crisis. The time when I joined with RSKS, I was desperately in need of some sort of help and support. I went to many moneylenders and begged them and I couldn't take the loan as they offered loan at very high rate of interest.
RSKS provided me opportunity to get associated with it through joining Kiran self help group. After joining the group I got a bank loan sanctioned through the self help group. I utilized the loan amount to start our traditional occupation again. But, in the beginning, I faced so many problems but afterwards the things started getting easier. I sell jewelly we made and a part of the profit we earned, I paid the installment of bank loan and gradually the loan was repaid totally. After some time, I applied for another loan and after getting it sanctioned I bought the required raw material and started making handmade artificial jewellery. My work was appreciated by all the villagers.
Now, my family is retaining its lost prosperity and I am trying my level best to grow my family business. Now, I provide better education to my children. I want to thank Team RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart for their support.

An IMPACT !!****
My name is Suman (Name Changed) and my age is 38 years. I live with my husband and three children. My husband does labour to run the family, and I did odd jobs to support him to meet additional expenses related to nurturing and education of children. There was a woman in my neighbourhood who made fancy slippers and I helped her in the work. But I never get the remuneration as per my hard work. I wanted to make fancy slippers on my own but I didn't have the required funds for raw material and other stuffs and I couldn't afford the loan at higher rate of interest offered by a local moneylender.
Then, RSKS came to my life like an angel when I met with the Team RSKS. RSKS joined me to Ujjwal self-help group and guided me properly. After some time I got a bank loan through the self-help group. I was so happy to get the loan that I utilized to buy raw material and started making fancy slippers at home. My husband also supported me in the work.
Now, my husband and I both make fancy slippers and sell them in the market. Now, we are earning Rs. 500 on daily basis by making and selling baskets. I am thankful to RSKS to bring happiness in my life along with GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors for their support that helped me to become self-reliant.
