Dear Friend's Namaste!
Availability of resources is must for the development and progress of the society and a village, but it is often seen that in rural areas, there are limited resources for the residents to be employed. Men somehow manage to migrate in the nearby cities in search of employment and get it, but women in rural areas get behind in their life as they are restricted to move out to be employed and this practice makes them deprived to be employed.
In order to provide resources for employment to such rural women, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan joins them through self-help groups and helps them to get loan from bank for commercial actitivities. In the series, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, RSKS organized Azola (Green fodder) Processing and Vermi Compost training for the women members of the self-help groups in the distant villages of Masuda block. During training, there were 30 self-help groups members who participated in the training and learn Azola processing and vermi compost. All the trainees are engaged in animal husbandry and agricultural activities at their homes, therefore, training for azola processing and vermi compost became beneficial for all of them.
After completing the training, all the trainees are very happy as they have learned the skills to process azola (Green fodder) and vermi compost and now, they are establishing azola processing and vermi compost units at their places that gets them employment at their own village and home. Women parctising animal husbandary are establising azola processing unit at their places that gets them good earning. All these women are becoming self-cofident for which they thank GlobalGiving Foundation and RSKS.
Many thanks again for your support!!
