First of all thank you So much We are glad to share the Great news!! We're very proud to RSKS India have been Recognized as a ''Super Star, Effective Non Profit, Top Ranked'' & ''fully Vetted organization'' once again for the year 2019 by esteemed organization GlobalGiving !
My name is Rani. I am 33years old. I live in Karnoss, I belong to Muslim community. My husband works as a driver & he stays outside mostly. I live with my 3 children. The responsibility of raising & teaching children is on me. Whatever my husband earns, the entire money is being used on the household work. The cost of education & nutrition of children is very difficult with his income. I earned some income by working in home of others but I was unable to pay attention to the children.
During this time I met the representative of RSKS & they told me about this project & they told about the self help group. Then I also proposed to join the self help group. After which our group was formed by the name of Aarzu self help group & it was linked to the bank. In the group meetings, financial plans & banking information was given to me, after some time, the bank gave me a loan at a low rate of interest, with the help of which I opened a sewing shop. After that I started getting orders from the women around us. With the help of which I started to deposit the bank loan installments along with the house expenses & also used to save some money, after 1 year, when my loan was completed then I got another loan from the bank, so I also started readymade garments selling in the sewing shop itself. Due to which I started earning a very good income.
Today, I bear the expenses of the house by joining my husband's shoulder & being able to provide better education & health to the children. Today my family is very happy. I am illiterate but after joining this project I now do all the work of the bank like deposit of money, saving account etc. and I have also got my signature. Earlier I used to put a thumb.
