We hope that you & your family all are safe and healthy in COVID-19 Difficult Situation.
As we all are aware of the pandemic Novel COVID-19 that has engulfed the entire world, and poses a serious threat to the well-being and mobility of each individual. RSKS India encourages everyone to take precautions by social distancing, following proper sanitary protocols and reaching out to health authorities in suspected cases.
RSKS India is extremely concerned and conscious about the health of our beneficiaries who are a part of the family and to ensure this RSKS India with the support of GlobalGiving, is also doing awareness programs with all the members of our self help groups to ensure the safety of these women and their family. It is said that educating a woman means educating two families so all these women were told about the things to do and not to do during this epidemic situation. RSKS India team members encouraged everyone to take precautions by social distancing, following proper sanitary protocols and reaching out to health authorities in suspected cases with the help of video shows, flipcharts,Hygiene, hand washing practices, puppet shows etc. This awareness activity was done in 11 Villages in which more than 250 women participated and got awareness.
This Awareness program made smiles on the faces of these women, as they all were worried about their family from Corona Virus. Now these women do know about the necessary things that they have to follow in order to be safe and healthy. All these women took an oath to fight altogether against the Corona Virus and show the spirit of Self Help Groups.
The RSKS organization is currently running a ''Relief to CoronaVirus Affected Families'' operation for daily wage workers, Homeless, Street & Slum families, who lost work and earning.
