RSKS India Family and the beneficiaries wish you and your family "Merry Christmas" !!

It is said worldwide that the menstrual health should not be ignored as it leads to many severe problems like cancer, infections etc. but still there are many rural, marginalized and deprived communities young girls and women who do not take proper safety during their menstruation period.These young girls and women are not aware about the sanitary napkins and the girls and women who are aware about the sanitary napkins do not use it. but this thinking of these girls and women is very dangerous as it can be life threatening to them as well as to their babies in future.

To make these women and young girls understand, RSKS India organized Be Free, Be Happy, Be Smile program under which these rural, marginalized and deprived community young girls and women were made aware about the benefits of using sanitary napkins, benefits of following healthy and safe menstruation and also told them about proper menstrual health through the help of aprons. After the awareness work, free 2000 sanitary napkins packets were distributed to these rural, marginalized and deprived community young girls and women. All programs were done at different locations and each sanitary napkin contained of 10 sanitary napkins each. The distribution work and the awareness works was done while following the covid-19 safety protocols and maintaining social distancing. These young girls and women were also told to not use the traditional items while menstruation as they have adverse effects on the body.

The program surely helped in changing the habit of these girls and women and from now they will use sanitary napkins for their menstruation period also these women and girls will stop the use of traditional items. These young girls and women also sanitary napkin packets which contained 10 sanitary napkins each, it will help them in their menstruation period. Also these young girls and women got the awareness about the safe menstruation practices through the help of aprons. Now these girls and women will be following all the healthy practices during their periods and will remain hygienic.
