We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Funds are most required to set up an self employment. In urban areas, funds are arranged easily but in rural areas, the rural women can't arrange funds easily and due to lack of funds they are not able to set up their employment. It is so difficult to get loan in the rural areas. If these women take loak from moneylendes they have to mortgage their precious and valuable property as ornaments or jewllery also they have to pay a high rate of interest.
In order to make women economically strengthen, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan support rural women to get loan at a low rate of interest through self-help groups. The organisation provided loans amounted to Rs. 500,000 to 185 rural women in Pisangan through self-help group. All women were so happy to get loan at a low rate of interest and they could pay the installments easily. Most of the women have established their self-employment and earn livelihood. Now they need not to get help from anyone. The program of GlobalGiving Foundation helps rural women to become economically self-reliant and strengthen. Now they have an identity in the society. Our activist had conversation with one of the women and came to know about her story of success which is as follows in her words.
My name is Lata and I'm 29 years old. My husband is a labourer and his earnins are not sufficient for us to survive. I was looking for funds to initialize an employment but couldn't arrange the funds. Three years ago, I joined Bajrang self-help group and they helped me to get a loan at low rate of interest by which I started a "Fancy Store". After some time, I got profit from my shop when the sale got increased and I repayed the loan. Now, after three years I got another loan of some more amount from my bank just because of good relations with the bank. I used the loan to buy stock which gets me more earning and I am being able to support my husband to run my family. I am thankful to Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of my heart.
