Socio Economic Empowerment with Solidarity !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Women, in the male dominated society haven't got their right and position yet, for which the major reason is that women are not economically strong and they have to depend on other to meet their basic requirements. In such situations, poor women can have dreams of their self-employment only. They can't raise funds for establishing an economic activity as they can't take loan from a moneylender being his rate of interest is so high. The requirement of funds forces them to move towards banks, but there also they don't get loan.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, puts its efforts to make women economically strengthen. The organization mobilize such poor and deprived women and associated them to self help groups where they get loan from bank at low rate of interest. These women utilize the amount of loan to establish their livelihood as animal husbandary, fancy stores, etc.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundationa, provided two - days capacity building and life skill development training to 119 women members of 10 self hlep groups in the session. All women members of these 10 self help groups participated in the training where they got training for improving their living standard and motivated for establishing self-employment. During the training, they were informed about the benefits of savings account and other financial policies and government schemes. All members decided to link with bank and other schemes to make their future bright and secure.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is evaluating the self help groups previously established in order to get information about the economic improvements brought to the lives of such women. Our activists present the story of success of such women which is as followed :

Thirty-five years old Anisha, a member of Jay Laxmi Women Self-Help Group is a domestic household woman. Her family is not economically strong and depends on her husband who is the only source of earnings in the family. Her husband is a labour who manages to meet the family requirements from what he earns from labour. One year ago, Anisha got associated with the self-help groups established by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and got a loan at low rate of interest through the self-help group. She started a vegetables shop using the amount of loan. After some time, she got growth in her vegetables business. She repayed the installments of the loan in due time and also expand her business. Associating with the self-help group, she noticed positive changes in her life for which Anisha thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of her heart. She ensures that she will continue her work with hard work and determination.
