In Ituri, COOPI has been able to support countless women and children, providing them with medical care, psychological support, education, and economic aid. Your contributions have helped survivors of war crimes, young mothers, and children born from violence regain dignity and hope.
Yet, despite these efforts, the conflict is far from over. Violence, displacement, and hunger still devastate thousands of families. And in the neighboring region of North Kivu, the situation is even more dire. Ongoing armed attacks have forced families to flee, leaving children malnourished and without access to education. That is why we have expanded our intervention. We are now delivering lifesaving aid where it is needed most. At Nyiragongo Hospital, we are treating 2,310 severely malnourished children, while in Rego displacement camp, we have built temporary learning spaces, ensuring that over 2,500 children continue their education despite the crisis.
Your support has already changed many lives - but the need remains urgent. With your continued generosity, we can reach even more women and children. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we can bring hope to those who need it most.
