Dear Donors,
Today we are celebrating resilience and sharing how your support is changing lives for women in Fretown's slum communities.
PROJECT UPDATE: WOMEN'S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
CINORG has been working with mothers who had nothing -no income , no savings, and no way to feed their children.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
1. Training 60 women completed training in business management, savings, and vocational skills like soap making tailoring and catering.
2. Group Formation: Women formed 6 savings groups to support each other and build capital together.
3. Success Story: Aminata from Kroobay had no income 6 months ago. Today she runs a small food business and can now pay her children's school fees. She says: Now i can stand on my own two feet.
THE CHALLENGE
For every woman like Aminata who starts a business, there are 10 more women waiting. They have the skills and the determination, but they lack the small startup capital to buy materials and equipment.
WHAT IS NEEDED
With $50 a woman can start a small business. Your donation helps us provide:\
1. Startup Grants: For materials, equipment, and initial stock.
2. Mentorship: 3 months of follow-up business coaching.
3. Market Linkages: Connecting women to markets to sell their products.
THE IMPACTS
When a woman earns aincom, the whole family benefits. Children eat better, go to school, and stay healthy.
Your support turns she had nothing into she runs her business.
