With campers (elementary to junior high school students) and LITs (high school students) starting the new school year in April, Mirai no Mori kicked off the next fiscal year with an activity-filled spring season!
Back to Nature monthly programs continue to happen every month, providing consistent opportunities for the children we support to not only acquire new skills and ideas through experiential learning, but apply these lessons again and again. During spring 2024, we had Easter Game Day in April- a day of teamwork, being active in nature, and exercising our brains- Kikori program in May, that brought together participants of all backgrounds in the mission of helping the growth of the beautiful forest, and Craft Day in June in which campers unleashed their creativity!
The Mirai no Mori team is now getting ready for our most impactful program: Summer Camp! Around 100 campers are excited to join within the month of August for a 5-day residential program filled with meaningful activities, self-reflection and getting out of our comfort zone. Stay tuned for more information about what’s to come this Summer!
“I always had a hard time finding the courage to make a presentation in front of everyone when I came to Mirai no Mori, but now that I am a junior high school student, I decided to challenge myself.
