By Joseph Jawanghe | Project Leader
Thanks to your generous support, our project has successfully empowered over 200 entrepreneurs in Uganda since 2022, helping them grow sustainable businesses, improve livelihoods, and strengthen their communities. Through training, mentorship, and access to startup resources, participants have increased income, created jobs, and gained confidence to overcome economic challenges.
Why This Matters
In Uganda, many aspiring entrepreneurs struggle with limited business knowledge, access to capital, and mentorship. Without support, small businesses often fail within the first year, perpetuating poverty. Your contributions ensure that these entrepreneurs have the tools, skills, and guidance needed to succeed and create long-term impact in their communities.
Impact at a Glance
200+ entrepreneurs trained in business management, financial literacy, and marketing
Mentorship provided through one-on-one coaching and peer networks
Access to startup resources including seed capital, equipment, and market linkages
Increased income reported by 85% of participants
Jobs created, benefiting families and communities
“Before the program, I struggled to make sales and support my family. Now, my business is growing, and I can employ two people from my village.” – Joseph, 28
Joseph’s story reflects the transformative power of the project: entrepreneurs gain confidence, practical skills, and sustainable income, improving not only their own lives but also the lives of those around them.
